Baby Boy!

My first baby's birthday was this week! Happy 3rd birthday to my sweet, sweet boy! So in love with this sweet dog!

Can't believe my big boy was ever this small! Haha! I miss those puppy days!
Look forward to many, many years with my boy!

DC

Sorry for my absence! Life has been busy, busy!

Rip and I had a great time chaperoning his school's senior trip! We traveled by bus and visited Charlottesville, Annapolis, Baltimore, and DC. It was a really busy trip, but we definitely enjoyed it. We both went with our school in 7th grade, but being that young, we didn't appreciate any of the history. It was nice to go to so many of these historical sights and actually want to hear about the history of them. Anyways, here's a few pictures of our adventures!

Loved visiting Monticello. It was beautiful! We learned a lot and then visited a great tavern with an awesome dinner before driving through UVA's campus.

We visited Annapolis and the Naval Academy. This is the stunning chapel on campus. .

Our tour of the Naval Academy and downtown Annapolis.

Our only proof of visiting Baltimore! Haha! Had a great bus tour and saw a lot of places
that I'd love to go back and visit but no pictures in the rain and slush :(

We had to cancel some of our plans due to nasty weather and places being closed, so we went bowling that night! Haven't done that in years!

We visited the Library of Congress. The architecture was so beautiful! Amazing mosaics and painted ceilings every way you turned.

And of course a visit to the Capitol.

Fighting the cold and wind with my love!

...not quite, guys! Haha!

This monument is huge! I had no idea!

These pictures absolutely do not do it justice!

What a beautiful church!
